Sanyo Lithium-ion Battery System Achieve Guinness World Record

Sanyo announces Mira EV * powered by their lithium-ion batteries traveled a distance of 555.6 km without recharging, achieving Guinness World Record for the Longest Journey by Mira EV* Mira EV is an electric vehicle converted by Japan Electric Vehicle Club.

Sanyo Lithium-ion Battery System Achieve Guinness World Record

Sanyo announces Mira EV * powered by their lithium-ion batteries traveled a distance of 555.6 km without recharging, achieving Guinness World Record for the Longest Journey by Mira EV

According to the media release, the battery systems housed in the Mira EV were designed by assembling 8320 cylindrical lithium-ion batteries (18650-type), those normally used in laptops etc.
