Sapphire has released the Radeon HD 7950 Mac Edition for Apple Mac Pro (2010+) users to upgrade.

The Mac Edition HD 7950 is essentially the ordinary HD 7950, with the exceptions that it comes with a spiffier looking white coat and a firmware that’s optimized for Macs.  All else aside, the Mac HD 7950 comes with it 3GB of GDDR5 memory, and Mac Pro users need to have a free PCIe x16 slot and two PCIe power connectors to get the card rolling.

As mentioned earlier, the Mac HD 7950 has a firmware optimized specifically for Macs, but the beauty of this is that the firmware is switchable–enabling people to switch between Windows-optimized and Mac-optimized "modes".  This, however, depreciates the value of the Mac HD 7950 a bit, because people can simply flash an ordinary HD 7950 with the Mac-optimized firmware; therefore, turning their run of the mill card into a "special" Mac Edition.

Sapphire’s Mac Edition HD 7950 isn’t cheap, and has a suggested tag of $450.
