Scythe has unveiled the Mugen 2 Rev B CPU cooler, adding on to its line-up of high performance thermal solutions for processors.


Measuring 130 x 100 x 158mm and weighing 870g, the Mugen 2 Rev B features five copper heatpipes, copper base and aluminum heatsink, and comes equipped with a 120mm fan that runs at a maximum speed of 1400 RPM at of 26.50 dBA. The Mugen 2 Rev B is very much similar to its predecessor (Mugen 2) and is fully compatible with all LGA 775. 1366, 1156 and AMD Socket 754, 939, AM2/AM2+ and AM3 processors.

The Mugen 2 Rev B is now available in Europe from major retailers and e-tailers at a MSRP of USD$49.80/ 35.90 Euro (excl VAT). Existing Mugen 2 users can purchase its LGA 1156 'conversion kit' for USD$7.95/ 4.15 Euro (also without VAT).
