Sennheiser is clearly not resting on their laurels after releasing their popular Momentum Wireless headphones in 2015. At CES 2017, Sennheiser announced three HD wireless headphones at very competitive prices.

The HD 4.50 BTNC with NoiseGard technology is Sennheiser’s most affordable noise-cancelling wireless headphones. The HD 4.50 aims to deliver that same great Sennheiser sound in a durable, lightweight and comfortable design, weighing in at 238 grams. It folds inward to fit into a hard carrying case and comes with a backup audio cable, in case it runs out of juice. With the HD 4.50, the control and handsfree buttons are located at the base of the right earcup. You’ll get 25 hours of battery life using just Bluetooth, but with NoiseGard and Bluetooth the battery life is 19 hours. Not too shabby, considering that it costs SGD285 (USD199) in the States, more affordable than the SGD399 Bose SoundLink AE2 Headphones!

The HD 4.40 BT Headphones feature the same clean design, but without NoiseGard. It also comes with a cloth bag and does not have a folding design like the 4.50. You will also enjoy the same 25 hour battery life and intuitive controls. I would usually recommend the 4.40 if you’re on a budget, but at SGD215 in the States (just SGD70 more) it makes more sense to get the HD4.50 instead.

If you prefer better portability, the new Sennheiser HD-1 In-Ear Wireless is is an evolution of the award-winning Momentum M2 IEi. It comes attached to a stylish neckband that houses the battery and electronic components, like the handsfree mic and button controls. The neckband also vibrates to alert you to incoming calls, a nice handy feature if your earbuds are hanging loose.  The Momentum Wireless connects to your device by Bluetooth and works for 10 hours on a single charge.

With this new wireless range, Sennheiser keeps its eye on the future, while sticking to the same sound principles that crowned it an industry leader. I only hope they will release it in Singapore soon, so that I can try them out!

Pricing and availability in Singapore to be confirmed.
