Both mechanical hard disk drives and solid state drives are supported on the SATA QuickPort Mini. The dock offers a convenient plug-in slot and an eject button. Just plug in your HDD or SSD, then connect the USB cable and you can immediately start working on data from the mounted drive. Both data transfer and power are handled by the USB port; there is no need for an external power adapter.

The SATA QuickPort Mini is available either with a USB 2.0 interface which supports up to 480Mbps, or a USB 3.0 interface which supports up to 5Gbps.

The drive dock is already available from authorized retailers and has an MSRP of 9.99 EUR for the USB 2.0 model, and 24.90 EUR for the USB 3.0 model.
