SINGAPORE 28 May 2008 – Singaporean network and security solutions provider, Advanced Network Technology Laboratories (ANTlabs) today announced that its security solution “Securite” won Best Deployment Scenario Award for Integrated Security Software 2008 while Chief Executive Officer Ang Kwang Tatwas honoured with the Shaping Info Security 2008 Industry Award. The awards were conferred by leading international industry title, Info Security Products Guide, published by Silicon Valley Communications.

ANTlabs’ innovative award-winning anti-e-crime software Securite provides both consumers and companies with the best protection possible by protecting consumers’ identities and their confidential information during financial transactions such as eBanking and Internet Shopping. Mr Ang’s prestigious award recognizes his pioneering leadership in the development of the Securite software, and demonstrates the success of ANTlabs’s investment in and commitment to research, development and innovation as the way to stay two steps ahead of the competition and of threats to the industry.

Earlier this year, Securite, which secures systems against phishing, malware/spyware, key-loggers and hackers, was deployed on Changi Airport’s free internet terminals and has lowered the risk for travellers who do sensitive online transactions such as checking bank balances and CPF balances; giving them peace of mind when using the free internet terminals located throughout the airport.

“Winning this award gives ANTlabs international recognition for what we do best and reaffirms our commitment to establishing our leadership through technology innovation,” said Ang Kwang Tat, CEO, ANTlabs. “Producing and deploying successful security solutions is important for ANTlabs as we see a need to protect our customers from today’s highly sophisticated and blended attack environments. Our research and development capabilities also helped us keep a step ahead of the competition and clinch these two prestigious awards.”
