SiS announced today that its SiS656 Northbridge chipset has passed all PCI-SIG’s PCI Express compatibility tests, and has completed co-validation for DDR2-667, DDR2-533 and DDR2-400 memory from Elpida, Micron and Samsung. In the future, SiS will be closely cooperating with these three major memory manufacturers.

SiS announced today that its SiS656 Northbridge chipset has passed all
PCI-SIG’s PCI Express compatibility tests, and has completed co-validation for
DDR2-667, DDR2-533 and DDR2-400 memory from Elpida, Micron and Samsung. In the
future, SiS will be closely cooperating with these three major memory
manufacturers.

The SiS656 Northbridge chipset supports both DDR2-400MHz and DDR2-533MHz, and
is the fastest core logic chipset on the market to support DDR2-667 memory.
