Held at Singapore Expo from 25th November to 28th November, SITEX 2010 is the last large-scale IT and consumer electronics exhibition. With more than 500 brands spread over 200 thousand square feet of exhibition space, this show is expected to see more than 850 thousand visitors through its gates. From the latest netbooks and laptops, to the best DSLRs and videocams, and even to home entertainment systems, you would be able to find them all at bargain prices.
Our first stop? Acer’s booth.
The ASUS G73Jw (right) and G53Jw-3D gaming laptops come in at $2998 and $2898 respectively. Both feature an Intel Core i7-740QM quad core processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M graphics with 1.5GB of memory and 8GB of DDR3 system.
The former features a 17.3″ Full HD LED display whilst the latter comes with a 15.6″ HD LED display that is 3D-capable.
Next we have the ASUS NX90. At $3888, it features an amazingly large 18.4″ Full HD LED display, a quad core Intel Core i7-740QM processor, 8GB of system memory, and a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M graphics chip.
As a desktop replacement, ASUS has gone great lengths to implement an audi osystem by Bang & Olufsen. Expect powerful and high quality sound!
A much cheaper laptop would suffice for daily usage – the U45Jc comes with an Intel Core i5-460M processor, 4GB of DDR3 system memory, and an NVIDIA GeForce 310M dedicated graphics chip.
This is the ASUS-LAMBORGHINI VX6. Despite being classified as a netbook, the VX6 packs a dual core Intel Atom D525 processor, 2GB of DDR3 memory, and graphics by NVIDIA ION.
Do it all with a touch – the ASUS EeeTop PC 2203T (right) priced at $1198 comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo T6670 processor, 4GB of memory and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570. The screen is touch-capable, and has a size of 21.6″ with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
The ASUS ET2400EGT is an all-in-one PC with a 23.6″ Full HD display, and has ASUS’ SonicMaster audio technology on-board.
There are three variants of the ASUS O!Play media player available at SITEX. The O!Play and O!Play Air go for $169 and $209 respectively, while the latest O!Play HD2 goes for $229. Do take a look at the HD2 as it is the first USB 3.0 media player!
