Sony Announces VAIO W notebook PC

If you find the Sony VAIO P too small to use, check out the latest VAIO W notebook PC that is also powered by Intel's Atom processor. Comes in Berry Pink, Sugar White and Cocoa Brown, the VAIO W will be retailing next month at 60,000 yen (or approximately US$630).

Sony Announces VAIO W notebook PC

Sony Japan has expanded their notebook PC with the latest VAIO W series that is designed with good looks, ease of use for surfing the web, checking e-mail, and social networking.

It features a wide 10.1-inch (16:9) LCD high-resolution screen (1366×768) and  keystroke and a key pitch, from Internet offers a comfortable life. On top of that, the VAIO W comes with VAIO Media plus Multimedia Streaming software, which allows you to wirelessly stream and share AV content across DLNA-enabled devices via your home network. Equipped with 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor, 1GB memory, 160GB hard disk, Wireless LAN (bgn), Bluetooth and integrated camera, the notebook is preinstalled with Windows XP Home Edition with SP3.

Available in White, Pink and Brown, the VAIO W will be selling at 60,000 yen (or approximately US$630) in early August.
