Recent leaks from Sony has taken off the wraps off the Sony C3, possibly a sub 3000-yen low end device headed to China.
A new leak from Sony has taken the wraps off Sony's upcoming low-end device headed to China with a rather appealing look and finish, a rare trait on low-end devices currently in the market.
While details are still scarce, it seems that Sony will be using a MediaTek based quad-core processor, either being the 1GHz MT6589 processor or the newer 1.5GHz MT6589T processor instead of the usual Qualcomm processors to keep costs low. Also included is a dual-SIM card slot common on China devices and a 5-inch screen of unknown resolution. Other specifications are still unknown, but one can expect the usual low-end parts to find their way on the device.
What's most appealing is its under 3000 yuan price tag (Under S$600), keeping its price under a large number of devices in the market. Certainly, this is one device to look out for when Sony releases it into the wild.
