Sony Demos New PS3 Motion Controller At E3
Looks like Sony is also moving towards motion-control gaming as it demos their new PS3 Motion Controller at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2009. According to the manufacturer, the controller will have buttons which can double as a trigger; can use it as a wand like a virtual weapon; and has internal motion sensors which give it the ability to track movements to an accuracy of within 7mm. Microsoft's "Natal" does not require a controller and uses a camera to map player's movements.
