The media from Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan were given a short tour at the DoCoMo Smartphone lounge inside the shin-yurakucho building where we see the Xperia Acro with the built-in retractable antenna for digital video/audio terrestrial broadcast. Depending on where you are in Japan, the number of channels received could be slightly different. The Xperia Acro is using the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS though we did not find the option of Internet Tethering on the phone.
According to DoCoMo, they even have a chart of the various trendy and colorful smartphones that they recommend to female users. And needless to say, the upcoming Xperia Ray is one of the highly recommended on the list.
