Sony outs new entry-level Vaio Fit notebooks in Singapore
Sony has introduced their new entry-level line of VAIO laptops. The new VAIO Fit series, available in both 14-inch and 15-inch screen sizes and a variety of colours, incorporates Sony’s latest visual and audio technology, offering both visual enthusiasts and audiophiles the best possible entertainment experience without them having to break the bank.
Clad in aluminium casings, the new VAIO Fit machines are powered by the Windows 8 operating system and come with high-resolution LED-backlit displays – 1600 x 900 for the 14-inch model and an impressive 1920 x 1080 for its 15-inch sibling. The weight-conscious VAIO Fit E variant instead comes with a 1366 x 768 display for both models and is designed for audio-centric usage. Both the VAIO Fit and Fit E are touch-enabled and optimized for Windows 8, providing an fun and easy computing experience for users.
Targeted at users who demand nothing but the best in visuals, the premium VAIO Fit is equipped with a vivid LCD screen that uses VAIO’s unique color enhance technology to provide superb clarity and color accuracy. In addition, three different display color modes will now allow users to enjoy viewing content based on their own preferences.
The VAIO Fit also features a hybrid HDD that boasts three times faster accessibility and speed over regular HDDs. With a 750GB storage capacity and an integrated flash-memory cache, the notebook offers an ideal combination of volume and speed for users seeking that extra edge in performance.
VAIO Fit E
Designed for audio enthusiasts, the VAIO Fit E comes with Sony’s audio technology, offering crystal clear highs and full-bodied basses that will treat users to an unbelievably rich audio experience. The ClearAudio+ mode incorporates a variety of Sony’s proprietary signal processing technologies that provides ultimate audio quality, with different sound and equaliser settings that can be toggled with the touch of a button.
The VAIO Fit E also features One-Touch Listening. Utilising NFC (near-field communication) technology, users can easily connect their Bluetooth enabled speakers, headphones and home audio devices to set up their sound stages easily and wirelessly.
Both the VAIO Fit and VAIO Fit E models will be available soon in Asia Pacific come this June.
