Sony new E-series Walkman to launch on 11 February

Sony Japan has announced their new Walkman E-series, which is scheduled to launch on 11 February next month. Available in 2GB and 4GB models, the  NW-E060 and NW-E060K series come in four trendy colors with a 1.4-inch LCD display.

Sony Japan has announced that their entry-level Walkman NW-E060 series is scheduled to launch on 11 February. Retail price for the 4GB NW-E063 will be around 11,000 yen (US$140), while the 2GB NW-E062 is approximately 9000 yen (US$115). In addition, the company is also launching the NW-E060K series that comes with a dedicated speaker stand. The 4GB models are estimated to retail "NW-E063K" at around 13,000 yen (US$166), while the 2GB model will sell at 11,000 yen (US$140).

The NW-E060 series sport a 1.4-inch screen with features including FM radio, five-band equalizer, Clear Bass, Clear Stereo, and Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE). Each model is available in Black, Blue, Pink and Red, and the earphones will come in black for the black/red, and white for the blue/pink models. The color of the speaker stand will be similar to the NW-E060 series.
