Tetsuhiko Yasuda, President of Sony Computer Entertainment Asia, gave the opening speech and mentioned that the sales for their products have been growing steadily over the past two years.

"For PS3, we will try our best to collect the best quality titles, and we are very pleased that the software industry is doing well. For Singapore,  a country with almost perfect environment, copy disc (piracy) is not suited here".

So what's the price for the PlayStation 3 Slim and PlayStation Portable Go?

According to Sony, the PS3 Slim will be retailing at S$512 while the PSP Go will be selling at S$412. (Not exactly cheap if you asked me, as it has been confirmed there won't be much/any price revision for the current PS3 consoles. Moreover, the current PSP are cheaper than the PSP Go; probably trying to woo consumers to get the PS3 Slim).

Both the PS3 Slim and PSP Go will be available from 1 October.
