Sony's first portable USB media player - Sony SMP-U10

Sony has recently introduced their SMP-U10 which claims to be the maker's first USB media player to provide near high definition quality movie viewing. The portable player supports various file formats including DivX, MP3, WMA, AAC, MPEG1,2,4, VOB and JPEG, and 1080p upscaling video output via HDMI connection.

Sony today introduced its first portable USB media player, SMP-U10, adding plug and play convenience to viewing content in near high definition quality. With the new media player, users can easily share home-made videos, popular YouTube clips, favourite MP3 songs, and prized photos on the big screen with family and friends. 

For consumers that own TVs without USB ports, the SMP-U10 will be a handy addition that makes watching videos off the computer much more convenient.
