(Singapore, 14th August 2009) – Sony Singapore launches its latest range of the BRAVIA T Series- T550A, offering powerful surround sound performance to recreate the cinematic experience in the comforts of your home. Featuring BRAVIA Engine 3, Live Colour, and Intelligent Picture technologies, the BRAVIA T550A Series is packed with high performance features to maximise TV watching enjoyment. As part of the new range of BRAVIA LCD TVs from Sony, the BRAVIA T550A Series is also equipped with eco-friendly features such as Power Saving Mode and Idle TV Standby that help consumers save power and costs while watching TV.

True cinematic experience is the perfect combination of sight and sound, and in the sound department this new series is no slouch. The BRAVIA T550A Series is equipped with powerful side speakers that offer users a fuller entertainment experience.

Built with the latest BRAVIA Engine 3 technology, the BRAVIA T550A Series uses a high definition video processor to reproduce images with impressive depth, vibrant colours with true-to-life tones, and high-definition images with amazing clarity. Coupled with Live Colour, MPEG Noise Reduction and Intelligent Picture technologies, movie and gaming lovers will delight at the finer detail reproduction and crisp, noise-free images from both standard definition and high definition sources on the new BRAVIA. 

Apart from working just as a TV, the BRAVIA T550A Series is also able to function as an FM radio and comes with up to 9 preset channels. Basic connectivity is also taken care of with two HDMI ports for users to watch their favourite shows and images directly from various devices and different formats.

The new BRAVIA T550A Series will only be available in a 32-inch variant and available exclusively at Carrefour stores from end August 2009.
