Sony Singapore unveils new NWZ-A860 Walkman MP3 player

Even though many users do use their smartphones to listen to their favorite songs, there still exist a group who prefer to rely on the dedicated portable MP3 player. Sony Electronics Asia Pacific has recently unveiled their new NWZ-A860 Walkman MP3 player that features a stylish exterior design, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and claims to deliver premium sound quality for audiophiles on the move.

Featuring superb audio technologies, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and sophisticated designs, the Sony NWZ-A860 Walkman MP3 player is designed to deliver great quality for audiophiles on the go. It claims to deliver premium sound quality, thanks to the company’s unique Clear Audio Technologies. The Advanced Digital Amplifier ‘S-Master MX’ technology also helps to improve bass reproduction and lowers noise levels, and Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) ensures crystal clear reproduction of high frequency sounds.

The Bluetooth connectivity allows users to share their favorite photos with friends who have Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices. The Sony NWZ-A860 also sports a responsive 2.8-inch touch panel display for ease of navigation and image and video viewing. Transferring music from Windows Media Player or iTunes is an easy task, thanks to the Sony Media Go application. And with SensMe Channel, it automatically categorises music tracks into different channels and plays music to match the time of day and even the user’s mood, Other features include Karaoke Mode that can reduce the volume of vocals for party time sing-alongs, and Synchronised Lyric Features let users follow along as they learn the words to their favorite songs.

The new Walkman NWZ-A860 will be available from October 2011. Pricing details to be available closer to launch date.
