Sony Unveils Thinnest Full HD Digital Still Cameras

The new Cybershot digital cameras by Sony are something to be worth to be taken note of. It is the thinnest and smallest and comes packed with features such as recording videos in Advanced Video Codec High Definition (AVCHD) format with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution.More after the jump

Sony Unveils Thinnest Full HD Digital Still Cameras

The new Cybershot digital cameras by Sony are something to be worthy to be taken note of.

It is the thinnest and smallest and comes packed with features such as recording videos in Advanced Video Codec High Definition (AVCHD) format with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution.

Both  models, "DSC-HX5V" and "DSC-TX7" are capable of the feature as mentioned and to addon, it is recorded in 60i in 17Mbps. This allows you to burn them to discs and playback on Blu-ray Disc players and it is also compatible with Playstation 3 systems as well.

The AVCHD videos can be edited with iMovie on a Mac or with the PMB software (comes with it) on Windows. Both cameras are also capable of reccording this in MP4 forma up to 1440 x1080 at 30p 12Mbps.

For the HX5V, it comes with integrated GPS, Compass and Optical SteadyShot with Active Mode technologies
