Sony Electronics Asia Pacific has introduced their latest WA700 digital photo frames which is not only Wi-Fi enabled but it comes with online photo retrieval from Facebook and emails. It sports a 7-inch resistive touchscreen and features 1GB internal memory and card slots that support Memory Stick Duo, SD and SDHC.
Sony has announced their first ever Wi-Fi enabled S-Frame, in the form of the DPF-WA700. The DPF-WA700 digital photo frame has a 7-inch resistive touchscreen and comes with home network connectivity for easy viewing of photos. Other features include the support for AccuWeather forecasts, 1GB internal memory that can store up to approximately 4,000 photos, and card slots supporting Memory Stick Duo, SD and SDHC formats.
The WA700 users will also enjoy the benefit of vTuner Internet radio compatibility, AVCHD video file playback, and MP3/AAC/LPCM/WMA audio playback while viewing their photo slideshows. On top of that, it has several eco-friendly features such as LED backlight technology that uses less power to display images than typical CCFL technology without compromising on picture quality. An automatic on/off timer also allows users to set their frames to turn off automatically when not in use after a period of time. The Sony DPF-WA700 digital photo frame will be available in January 2012, pricing is not available at press time.
