Spotify, a popular music streaming service provider, has recently announced that its app will be made available on Windows phone 6.x and the upcoming Windows Phone 7. You can download the app at m.spotify.com as well as Windows Marketplace.

Spotify, a popular music streaming service in Europe, have announced that its app will be available on the upcoming Windows Phone 7. The Spotify app has been launched on the iPhone, Android and Symbian platforms and it is just timely for Windows phone users.

However, only those who pay the monthly £9.99 subscription fee can access their music library on the move.

Here are the features the Spotify for Windows phones:-

- Stream over WiFi or 2.5/3G - All your existing playlists are available
- Offline playlists - Play your music without an internet connection
- On-the-fly sync - Every track you add to a playlist appears on mobile and computer
- What’s New tab
- Wirelessly sync your local files to your phone
- Starred tracks - tag all your favourites into a special list
