The most recent issue of Famitsu has revealed progress updates for Square Enix’s current lineup of Final Fantasy titles, including the third and final adventure of the iconic heroine Lightning in Lightning Returns: FF13 and the upcoming FFX HD Remaster collection.
FF-Reunion’s own aibo_ac7 has Tweeted percentages for each of the games, which can be found below:
- Final Fantasy X HD – 80%
- Final Fantasy X-2 HD – 65%
- Final Fantasy VIII (PC) – 80%
Some of the above titles will be showcased and featured by Square Enix at this year’s E3 expo, and the company’s wholly rebuilt MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will see a release in August of this year. Square Enix has spent considerable time with its reconstruction of A Realm Reborn, and remains the developer’s only original release besides Lightning Returns: FF13.
That doesn’t mean that converting previous releases to HD is an easy task, as Square Enix is notorious for its impeccable attention to detail, and the HD counterparts will most likely be met with acclaim as their re-introduced into the gaming world.
