SuperTalent - Sandforce-Driven USB 3.0 Flash Drive

SuperTalent has announced a high performance USB flash drive compatible with USB 3.0, where the NAND flash chips are running on a sandforce controller. SuperTalent have used a Sandforce SF-1222 SSD controller with MLC NAND flash chips occupying 8 channels. As the SF-1222 controller is running at half its capacity, performance is expected to drop as well.

A quick run by the guys at TechPowerUp on CrystalDiskMark reviewed 143.3Mbps sequential read and 63Mbps writes.
