Debunking every single rumor between late last year and yesterday, an LG-made second-generation Nexus 10 has been pictured by two sources seemingly unconnected. Furthermore, the tab has been allegedly listed for a short while on a British online retailer with a full spec sheet.
Say, do you by chance know what in the name of Android KitKat happened with the alleged Asus-made second-generation Nexus 10? I mean, all the signs pointed to the big guy chaperoning the Nexus 5 on its way to store shelves, yet the 10-incher is still not official.
Ask and it will be given to you. It was only a few weeks ago that I expressed my incredulity towards an imminent second-gen Nexus 10 unveiling what with there being no actual photos of the device out and about and, voila, here’s the first render.
With the 2013 edition of the Nexus 7 out the door already, the likely LG-made N5 is by far the most hyped and anticipated new Google device tipped for a commercial launch by the end of the year. But what about the second-gen Nexus 10?
A new leak suggests that ASUS could replace Samsung as Google’s hardware partner to manufacture the successor to the Nexus 10.
So the Nexus 5 is to be co-manufactured by Motorola (or shall we say manufactured by Google alone?), the next-gen N7… is a long way down the road and the follow-up to the first ever Nexus 10 will be built by Asus.
