Sonny Dickson has done it again. The notorious, controversial and very troublesome (for some) young blogger, who’s recently announced his retirement from the “business”, has posted two incredibly detailed hands-on galleries starring the Apple iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 in the past 24 hours.
Apple is expected to unveil new versions of both its iPads later this year. According to an analyst, the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 are on track for a Q4 release. The analyst also predicts the launch of a low cost iPad mini next year.
Following a bundle of iPhone 5C and 5S leaks, which essentially don’t leave anything of importance uncovered ahead of their September 10 unveilings, it’s only natural to turn our attention back to the upcoming iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2.
Yesterday it was rumored that Apple will announce the new iPads on September 10, at the same event it is expected to unveil the two new iPhones. Now, an insider says that rumor is false.
Apple is already expected to unveil two new iPhones on September 10th. A new report hints at the possibility of the company launching iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 at the same event alongside the rumored launch of iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S.
A purported housing of Apple’s next generation iPad mini has leaked. The housing doesn’t show off any design changes, which doesn’t come as a surprise, since Apple isn’t expected to make any design changes to the iPad mini 2.
With the iPhone 4S being introduced to the world on October 4, 2011 and its follow-up, the iPhone 5, seeing daylight September 12, 2012, it was always fairly predictable Apple will be looking to throw a new smartphone in the ring no sooner than August 2013 and no later than October.
You know the rumor that emerged on the web less than 24 hours ago about Apple planning to equip the next-gen iPad mini with an A6 chip, but a non-Retina display? Apparently, it’s nothing but an unsubstantiated rumor.
I’m confused. In the space of just one week, we’ve heard the Retina display-boasting new iPad mini was delayed for 2014, a “lighter” model with “upgraded specs” but non-Retina screen was to come this year instead and now the variant that was supposed to be pushed back is no longer.
A new report has just landed citing that the Apple iPad 5 is all set to land in our hands this September. The same report also says that the iPad Mini 2 specifications haven’t been finalized yet, are still getting some changes under the hood.
Pegatron will commence shipments of the budget iPhone with plastic chassis and the next-generation retina iPad Mini in August.
