Chinese manufacturer Meizu has sent invitations to an event on September 2 in Beijing, China, where it is expected to unveil its newest flagship smartphone, the Meizu MX3.
Quick, what do you think will be the biggest product launch in China this second half of the year? The Oppo Find 7 and Xiaomi Mi3 are definite possibilities, Huawei and ZTE should have a few aces up their sleeves also, but it’s Meizu’s MX3 that looks the most encouraging at the moment.
This smartphone has been no stranger to the rumor mill and it looks like its one that can finally stop being speculated on now that it has been officially announced by the company and set to release in the very near future.
The so-called Meizu MX3, the company’s highly anticipated next flagship smartphone, is expected to make a commercial debut sometime in the fall. That was essentially all we knew about the thing 24 hours ago, but the status quo has significantly changed between then and now.
The most solid evidence yet that the Meizu MX3 could be using Samsung’s powerful processor has surfaced. The source? Surprisingly it was Meizu themselves.
Reports of a low-cost Meizu smartphone have apparently been confirmed on the Meizu official forums. A possible launch date and specs were mentioned in the report.
