Nokia’s latest flagship smartphone and its first ever Lumia tablet are still hot off the press, but if we are to believe new rumors circulating around the web their sequels are not very far down the road.
Nokia has gotten really good of late at advertising its products at the expense of the competition, but nothing, not even that wickedly clever anti-Galaxy S4 Zoom marketing stunt, showcased the sheer brilliance the Finns are apparently capable of.
It’s a mid-range Android smartphone with a high-end digital camera hitched to it. No, it’s a point-and-shoot that just happens to run Android and support voice calls.

Nokia might not look like a real threat for Samsung when it comes to minor things like, oh I don’t know, actual smartphone sales, but as far as advertising goes, the Finns look in much better, and perhaps more creative, shape than the Koreans of late.
You know, I’ve never been one to encourage commercials that promote a product by going at the competition’s throat. But if you can do it in style, with grace, humor and taste, I say go for it.
