Ricoh has announced the availability of a new interchangeable module for its GXR line of compact digital cameras. Known as the GXR MOUNT A12, it claims to be compatible with a wide variety of lenses that have been made to conform to Leica's M mount specifications.
Remember Ricoh, the company behind the crazy GXR interchangeable sensor camera and who's known for its GR Digital series of high-end point and shoots? Well, they also happen to make printers and copy machines, but that's beside the point, as the company has decided to further its camera business unit by purchasing Pentax from Hoya.
Ricoh Japan has recently announced the G700SE, a waterproof and dustproof digital camera which is an improved model of the rugged G700. The 12.1-megapixel camera features integrated Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and allows a GPS unit to be connected to the device.
