Available for a while now in Korea, LG’s innovative curved display-toting G Flex smartphone is ready to take the rest of Asia by storm in time for the year’s end.
Though the world’s first couple of smartphones to sport curved displays didn’t quite end up as flexible as we imagined all this time, the Samsung vs. LG duel is shaping up to be quite heated and interesting to the outside viewer.
The battle is over, Samsung prevailed, LG lost… again, and whatever the Optimus makers manage to squeeze out the “G Flex”, it won’t be enough to make people forget Sammy’s Galaxy Round was the first curved display smartphone to see daylight.
LG is ready to launch its first smartphone with a curved screen. The mobile will be called the G Flex, and will be available sometime next month.
Samsung announced the Galaxy Round today, the first smartphone with a curved display. The Galaxy Round will initially be available in South Korea on SK Telecom.
News out of Korea indicates that Samsung might unveil the Galaxy Round, a smartphone with a flexible display, this week.
