Samsung may not be working solely on toned-down “Mini” and “Lite” versions of current smartphones for next year, but also a low-cost Galaxy Tab 3, according to intel gathered by the usually reliable folks over at Sam Mobile.
Though hated and contested by many (I’m looking at you, Apple fanboys), Samsung’s Android-powered gadgets have one virtue that probably no one can deny – they’re diverse and can essentially fit every taste, need and style.
Since they’ve never been Samsung’s main focus, the company’s Galaxy Tabs have garnered very little attention over the past few years. The newest family members seem to not be an exception to the rule, although they don’t look so very bad and they’re quickly expanding their availability.
Completely ignored during the “Premiere” event last week, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 slates are back on our radar, as they have finally been scheduled for US launches. All three new Android-based tablets will see daylight in America on July 7, with pricing set to start at a predictable $199.
