Exciting news out of China for mobile enthusiasts, as local superstar and international key player wannabe ZTE has taken the wraps off the Nubia Z5S and Z5S Mini handhelds.
ZTE made quite a few waves in the Western media when it finally rolled out the Grand S and Nubia 5 stateside, but now the Chinese are looking to move up to the next level with a Snapdragon 800-powered Nubia Z5S.
Lenovo is not the only China-based smartphone OEM that’s suddenly interested in branching out and becoming a household name in the industry the other side of the Pacific, as ZTE, already the fourth biggest handheld manufacturer in the world, has just announced a big American push.
The “Mini” craze has taken over the mobile world, with anyone that’s someone looking to shrink its flagship device to make it accessible to the masses. Samsung has released the Galaxy S4 Mini, HTC is readying the One Mini and ZTE seems to have a Nubia Z5 Mini in the pipeline.
