The Huawei Ascend P1 was first showcased at CES 2012 in Las Vegas earlier this year, and with Mobile World Congress 2012 approaching, the Chinese company is launching their new heavyweight smartphone, the Ascend D1 Q. The official announcement for the new phone will be on 26 February, though the teaser pictures have recently gone on the web. According to online sources, the Ascend D1 Q is scheduled to launch in April and will be equipped with a quad-core CPU, which is twice as fast as the Nvidia Tegra 3.
