Ever since its announcement early this year, HTC Desire (codename Bravo) has been the hot topic of most Android discussions. With very similar internal specifications to the Google Nexus One, also manufactured by HTC, the Desire stands among the market as one of the most powerful Android phones. Let us take a look at how powerful this phone proves to be, and oh, we heard it is also Flash enabled.
Introduction
Once again, HTC proves itself worthy of its own slogan – ‘quietly brilliant’ – as it has produced another highly anticipated phone that lives up to the fanfare. Ever since there was a leak for the Desire last December, bluebirds around the grapevine had been chirping non-stop.
Granted that the final version of Desire differs slightly from that of the leaked version, and much of the internal specifications are similar to the Google-branded, HTC-manufactured Nexus One, Desire still shines brightly.
The HTC Desire comes with an optical trackball, encircled by a silver ring button. It also has physical buttons as opposed to touch-sensitive buttons. Most importantly it comes bundled with Adobe Flash Lite 4, making surfing more enjoyable and engaging.
Whether the final product is as desirable and enjoyable as it is touted to be, read on to find out more. Let us start with a walkthrough of the specifications first.
