The new Xbox 360 was announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles last month, and this afternoon, Microsoft Singapore held a event to showcase the Xbox 360 to the local media.
So how much smaller is the new Xbox 360? Here’s a picture of the gaming console placed side by side with its older sibling.
And at the rear are the connectors – three USB, Kinect Auxiliary, Ethernet, AV, HDMI, S/PDIF (digital audio) and power.
Features include gloss black finish, 250GB internal removeable hard drive, touch sensitive button for power on/off and disc eject, integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi, Kinect ready and backward compatible with previous accessories and controllers. Not only is it more compact, but it is also quieter in operation and consumes less power.
According to Microsoft, the Xbox 360 250GB will be available 18 July, next Saturday, and retailing at S$499.
