CD Projekt RED has revealed the new chapter in their epic fantasy RPG series with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is slated for a release in 2014 presumably for next-gen consoles.
Geralt returns in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CD Projekt RED's newly unveiled continuation in the epic medieval fantasy RPG series which has garnered considerable critical acclaim from fans and journalists worldwide.
In Wild Hunt, the developers plan to expand the game's already massive fantasy world to bring even more open-world exploration to the game, offering a distinct adventure that's 30 times larger than the other games–even bigger than Skyrim's vast expanse.
This feat is achieved with the new REDengine 3 technology that CD Projekt RED is debuting with the game, and Wild Hunt will keep the familiar web of nonlinear plotlines, political intrigue, impossible decisions, terrifying otherworldly menaces, and the cast of characters that have all been signature elements of the Witcher franchise.
Another incredible feature of Wild Hunt is that the gameplay is seamless, offering a huge open-world to explore without a single loading screen. Players can roam from verdant forests to sprawling, rolling hills and cresting mountaintops without being interrupted by a single loading screen, bringing an unprecedented level of entertainment to gaming without the minor annoyance of interruptions.
CD Projekt RED hasn't officially said that Wild Hunt will be released onto next-gen consoles, but the dev. studio does say that it's coming to "all high-end platforms available" in 2014, presumably to Microsoft's and Sony's next gen consoles.
