Following up on the success of our immensely popular XP-120 and XP-90 our engineers were asked to go a step further and do for Socket 775 what our fabulous twosome have already done for Intel P4″s and AMD’s K8’s. As both heatsinks already meet and surpass Intel’s standards for Socket 775 cooling solutions our engineers only needed to develop a two piece frame that would not only accommodate our XP-120 and XP-90 heatsinks, but would be also able to negate any infringement of the no, no component zone around the socket itself.

If you’re one of those people, who may be concerned with the weight of the
XP-120 and an accompanying 120mm fan (normally more than 150g) and/or even our
all copper SLK-947U; we have included our own metal backplate for additional
support and to prevent any flexing of the motherboard due to the weight of your
heatsink of choice.

Our photo above gives you a clear indication of just how simple an
installation the LGA775RM is, so why not pick yours up today and start enjoying
the cooling capabilities of our XP-120 and XP-90. Your socket 775 CPU will thank
you, with improved performance!!
