Thermalright unveils the MUX-120

Thermalright, a leading thermal solutions provider, has released the MUX-120. Measuring L133 x W38 x H160 mm and weighing in at 670g, it has a unique bent winglet design, minimizing airflow resistance. With its quad 6mm heatpipes and 48 pieces of aluminium fins, the MUX-120 is able to dissipate the heat developed efficiently with the bundled X-Silent 120mm fan. Installation to the mainboard is a breeze, thanks to its new bolt-thru-board retention brackets.

Unfortunately, at this point of time, MUX-120 only supports the new LGA 1156 socket for Intel® Core i5 and i7 processors. However, we believe Thermalright will be updating the MUX-120 to fully support LGA775/1156/1366 and AMD AM2 & AM3 platforms. Pricing has yet to be announced but we think the MUX-120 should be aggressively priced to make it an attractive thermal solution for adopters of the new LGA 1156 socket.
