Thermaltake Frio Extreme CPU Cooler Review

The box in which the Frio Extreme is supplied betrays the size of the cooler, as it could easily fit a typical power supply. Thermaltake designed the cardboard box very well, with the artwork focusing entirely on the cooler and its features.

Inside the box, everything is very well packed and secured with thick polystyrene foam pieces. The cooler is supplied completely dismantled, with the fans unattached.

A very well packed bundle awaits the procurer of a Frio Extreme cooler. All mounting hardware, as well as a universal backplate and a small syringe of thermal paste, are supplied very carefully packed inside a compartmentalized box. Besides the contents of that box, the user will also receive a fan speed controller and it connection cable, as well as leaflets with installation instructions for each socket.
