Thinner iPad and Retina iPad mini will apparently be released in last three months of 2013
The hype these days surrounds two new iPhones that Apple is expected to unveil next month. Though time and again we do get to hear about the next generation iPad and iPad mini. As per a new report, Apple might release a thinner iPad as well as the much rumored Retina iPad mini in the last three months of this year.
There’s no doubt in the fact that the company is going to be releasing new iPads in the future. Many people anxiously await the next model of the full fledged iPad which is expected to have a different design than all of its predecessors, who have largely had the same design ever since the iPad 2 was launched in 2011. As far as the Retina iPad mini is concerned, there has been much speculation as to the possibility of Apple releasing such a tablet, some believe that it might not happen until next year.
People familiar with the matter tell Bloomberg that Apple is gearing up to release both the new iPad and Retina display touting iPad mini in the last three months of 2013. A thinner form factor has been rumored for the new iPad, which is expected to have similar design language as the iPad mini. No information regarding the internal hardware specifications of both tablets has been provided as yet.
It is believed that Apple will conduct an entirely different event after it is done with the one where it unveils the new iPhone, which presumably takes place on September 10th. Nevertheless, we can’t really be sure, since Apple hasn’t said anything about its plans for new models of its popular tablets.
