After months of speculation, Sony has officially confirmed the release date of the PlayStation 4 in the United States, as well as Europe. Check it out after the jump.
Without further ado: the PlayStation 4 will launch in the US for $399 on November 15th, and across EU for €349 on November 29th later this year. It is expected to have AAA games like Watch Dogs, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, among others available on launch.
This is while the Xbox One still has a somewhat vague November 2013 release date. Microsoft made no references to the release date in their keynote today at Gamescom 2013.
The PlayStation 4 sure would make for an excellent birthday gift. Hint hint, Mom and Dad!
