The US based wireless provider most known for offering unsubsidized phones and month to month plans will soon be getting two new devices, one from Samsung and one from HTC. Both being Windows Phones.
If there are any fans of Ting out there then you may some new products to look forward to. For those unfamiliar, Ting operates using Sprint’s network and deals exclusively in month to month plans meaning no contracts. Ting has posted on their blog that they’ll be getting two new devices running the Windows Phone OS. The first device is the HTC Tiara. The mid-end device packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3″ WVGA display, 8GB storage, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, and 1800 mAh battery. The device was first seen in the leaked image below:
The other device expected to be released at approximately the same time is a mystery Samsung device. All that seems to be known is that it will support LTE and include an unlocked GSM SIM slot.
As Windows Phone Central notes, if you’re a Sprint customer than the implication here is that you can expect these devices soon as well, considering they share the same network. Stay tuned.
