Titanfall Beta sign-up is now open. Jot your name down for a chance to test out the game later this month.
The first person shooter arena is expected to be shaken up a bit with the arrival of Titanfall. From the various demos we’ve gotten glimpses of, the game is a breath of fresh air to the FPS scene.
Titanfall is slated for launch on March 11, but the Beta sign-up has already begun. Both Xbox one and PC owners will be able to jot their names down on the list, but EA says this does not guarantee a Beta slot. If given access, EA will email Beta players the instructions on how to access the game on February 17.
Respawn Entertainment, the creator of Titanfall, is putting an interesting twist into FPS by integrating mechs (huge Gundam-style suits) into the gameplay. These mechs not only make a splash on the warzones, but they are a staple in the game’s overall mechanic—that is, players will have to constantly utilize these robo-suits to maintain a competitive edge over their foes.
EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said in statement earlier this month that Titanfall is a must-have, and its ‘different…[and] exciting gameplay’ will definitely make the franchise a top-tier contender in the FPS gaming segment.
Interested gamers can hop on over to EA’s Origin page to sign up to be a beta tester.
