TomTom Map Share Now Available For iPhone

Today, TomTom has announced its latest version of Map Share which allows users to make changes directly to their own maps and receive TomTom-verified updates free of charge, via the TomTom app for iPhone. In addition, you will also get free map updates verified by the company. TomTom Map Share Now Available For iPhone

TomTom today announced its latest version of the TomTom App for iPhone (v1.6), which include the latest map of Singapore/Malaysia and its proprietary Map Share technology. With the addition of TomTom Map Share, users can be assured to have the most up-to-date and accurate maps. Version 1.6 of the TomTom App for iPhone can be purchased from the Apple App Store.

TomTom Map Share allows iPhone users to make changes instantly to their own maps. Users also benefit from free map updates, which are made by the TomTom community and verified by TomTom. App users will be able to edit street names, set driving directions and block and unblock streets directly on their maps and share these changes with the TomTom community.

The TomTom App checks for verified map updates including turn restrictions, speed limit changes and crossing changes automatically every week (or on-demand as often as the users choose).

Availability and pricing
The updated TomTom App for iPhone is now available in the App Store on promotion for US$39.99. Current owners of the TomTom App can update to the new version for no additional charge.
