SINGAPORE, 26 November 2009 – Toshiba’s Computer Systems Division (CSD), a division of Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd, has announced the launch of its Camileo camcorder portable range, the S10 and P30.  The ultra-slim Camileo S10, at a mere 17.9mm thin, is targeted at style-conscious trendsetters searching for a light and easy-to-use camcorder, while the Camileo P30 is a reliable, robust device for all-day usage featuring a stylish, pistol grip design with a 5X optical zoom. Both of these models now put high quality, HD (1080p) video recording in the hands of the general consumer with their ease-of-use and affordability.

The Toshiba portable Camileo S10 and P30 camcorders allow users to take high definition videos and high quality images in H.264 format, and capture still photos at 8 megapixels (interpolated).

With the all-digital, high quality HDMI output, users can view their recorded videos directly on a HDTV. On top of that, the Camileo camcorders’ SD Card Slot comes with SDHC support. This will allow users to use the SDHC and truly enjoy high definition video capturing with no worries of running out of space.

The Camileo camcorders also come with a complete suite of accessories that enables users to start recording right out-of-the-box. Accessories include a Li-Ion Rechargeable battery, Power adaptor, Mini-tripod, HDMI cable, TV-out cable, USB cable, Wrist strap, Pouch and a Cleaning cloth.
