Aside from the AS100 that was unveiled last year, Toshiba aims to launch their new AT300 tablet based on Android 3.0 and runs dual-core processor in June. According to online sources, the AT300 will be categorized under the Regza series. No word as to whether it will be available here though.
Dual-core processors looks to be the main differentiation in the current tablet wars. And Toshiba has showcased their ANT tablet at CES in Las Vegas earlier this year. The company has expressed that it will launch the 16GB version of the tablet in June, which is now known as AT300.
The Toshiba AT300 will be under the Regza family and probably be retailed by NTT DoCoMo in Japan. The AT300 runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb and is equipped with Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processors. It sports a 10.1-inch display that supports 1280×800 pixel resolution, features front and rear cameras, HDMI, USB, mini-USB, SD card slot and supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and SRS Labs surround sound technology.
Scheduled to launch in Japan in June, the Toshiba AT300 will be retailing at 60,000 yen (approximately US$730).
