TP-Link @ Computex 2011: Networking for consumers

The other product up on display at TP-Link's booth is the TL-WR700N, which looks suspiciously like any typical homeplug device:


However, we were told by TP-Link that while the TL-WR700N can be used as a homeplug to provide an Ethernet connection via existing power cables, it is also capable of one additional feature; the ability to function as a wireless access point as well. Yes, you read that right: the TL-WR700N can also double up as a makeshift router.


Unfortunately, TP-Link was not able to provide any additional details about the TL-WR700N; as such, the device's exact specifications, estimated release date and expected retail price are still a mystery to us.
