UMC To Make G92 For Nvidia

According to DigiTimes, while TSMC remains Nvidia's major foundry partner, the graphics chip vendor has also placed orders with UMC for its G92 chip, as it steps up output ahead of the upcoming launch of its mid-range chip in November. UMC will be able to process 5000-6000 wafers on 65nm process technology which is about 1M chips.
