If Hello Kitty can never have too many friends, then we over at VR-Zone will proudly claim that one can never have too many movies to watch, especially in this era of 2TB hard disk drives and the upcoming fiber-optic broadband network. And we got not one, but two media players up for review this time; the MyMovie MV2500 and MV3800, courtesy of Universal Tech.

2010 is almost at its end, and in less than 48 hours the world will be ready to welcome 2011 with lots of well-wishes and hopes for the new year. Of course, it goes without saying that there will be some amount of partying and merry-making going on in the background.

And if you are going to be part of the background celebrations, why not make the most out of it by getting the whole family  together for a little movie marathon?  After all, these is nothing more enjoyable than spending some quality time at home with everybody getting a chance to experience their downloaded movies and videos in their PCs on the big (figuratively) TV screen instead of the tiny computer monitor or notebook display.

Of course, to do that you will need to own a media player. And if that particular device has been loitering around in your ‘Things I Want To Own’ list, consider yourself lucky. VR-Zone has just received two such devices for review, the Universal Tech MyMovie MV3800 HD Media Recorder and the MV2500 HD Media Player. And in this review, we shall put both these devices under the knife to help you decide whether these devices are worthy of a last-minute 2010 purchase.
