The VR head mounted display we've all been hearing about is now getting Unreal Engine 3 support, giving hope to many many more titles being compatible with it upon release!

The Oculus Rift is a head mounted VR-display that, according to those who have tried it, fulfills every dream we had as kids of playing games in virtual reality. But no matter how good the device is, it'll be worthless if it doesn't have a wide range of supported current and next gen titles. Thankfully, Epic's Unreal Engine 3, which powers a large percentage of current gen games on all consoles, will be getting an update to support the newly release developer's kit of the Rift.

This means that we'll have a larger library of games to try the device out on upon it's release, and chances are good there'll be support for the device on the upcoming fourth version of the Unreal Engine. Games already supported are Doom 3 BFG edition and Hawken, with future titles including Star Citizen and several others which have been modded to play with the headset.

We'll update you as the story develops, and of course, you'll have our full review upon release.
