Windows Phone 8 Upcoming WP8 smartphones by Nokia, Samsung, HTC and Huawei revealed

A user on Reddit has revealed some interesting information on the upcoming Windows Phone 8 powered handsets by almost every major player including Nokia, Samsung, HTC and Huawei.

It's been a while that we've seen any major new Windows Phone 8 powered handsets. With Nokia preparing to unveil their new Lumia 928 next week, this event might just mark the beginning of a spree of new handset releases by major players such as HTC, Samsung and Huawei. According to a user on Reddit, we should prepare ourselves for a bevy of new Windows Phone 8 smartphones in the months of June, July and August. Here's the leaked list:

HTC:

  • HTC Tiara
  • HTC Tiara LTE

The HTC Tiara was leaked about two months ago. It is said to pack a 4.3 inch WVGA SLCD2 display, 1 GB of RAM, 8 MP rear camera, 8 GB of internal storage, a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core chipset, 1800 mAh rated battery and Windows Phone 8 GDR2. Tiara is scheduled for a may reveal.

Nokia:

  • Nokia Lumia 928/925
  • Nokia Lumia EOS

Nokia's Lumia 928 is on the brink of release (May 14th to be exact), with all the leaks surrounding the device launch all but officially confirming it's existence.

Samsung:

  • Samsung Chronos

Chronos is said to be an aluminium-chassis WP8 device. No other details are known as of now.

Huawei:

  • Huawei Ascend WQ 5

Huawei is rumored to launch a 5 inch 1080p packing Windows Phone version of their flagship Ascend D2 droid. The primary camera has a 13 MP sensor.

A fresh wave of Windows Phone handsets along with the new WP8 update that lifts restrictions on CPU (quad core) and display (1080p) will certainly breathe fresh life into the platform.
